We'll meet you wherever you are

Most companies don't fit neatly into one box. We'll start from where things stand today and build a plan around what you need.

  1. 1

    Getting started

“We know AI matters, but we're not sure where it fits in our business yet.”

    AI Strategy & Roadmap

We help you work out where AI is worth using, what to do first, and what to leave alone. You'll finish with a ranked list of opportunities, simple rules for using AI, and a 90-day plan with names against it.

  2. 2

    Choosing and setting up tools

“We need to pick the right AI tools and set them up without putting client or company data at risk.”

    AI Tools & Architecture

We compare the options against your real work, help you choose, and set them up properly: who can see what, how client and project data stays separate, and what gets logged.

  3. 3

    Getting people using it

“We've got the tools, but most people aren't using them, or aren't using them well.”

    Training & Enablement

Hands-on training for leaders, teams and AI champions, built around their real work, not demos. Whether you use Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.

  4. 4

    Getting more from AI

“Our team is on board. Now we want AI to take real work off their plate.”

    Build & Automate

We build the workflows, automations and tools that handle the repetitive work, using the systems you already have wherever we can. You own everything we build.

Ongoing Advisory

Before or after a project, or on its own.

Sometimes you just need an experienced person to call. Office hours and ongoing advice, whether you're about to start, have just finished a project with us, or want a sounding board as you go.

Not sure where you fit?

Book a 30-minute call and we'll send you a free Starting Point Plan: where you are, where we'd start, and three things you can do in the next 30 days.

Why work with Chorus

There are plenty of AI consultants. We start with your business problem, not the technology, and we do the work ourselves.

Business people who can build

Our team brings finance, operations and strategy experience alongside product, design and engineering. We can understand your business, work out what's actually wrong, and build the fix ourselves, without handing you between firms.

We move fast

AI moves quickly, so we do too. We go from analysis to training to working tools in weeks, not quarters, and get something useful into your hands early.

We start wherever you are

Starting from zero? We'll build the plan with you. Have the tools but people aren't using them? We'll start with training. Team on board but need something built? We'll start there.

We stay with you

AI keeps changing after the first project is done. We keep supporting you through office hours and ongoing advisory, so you always have someone to call.

Business problem first. Technology second.

AI isn't always the answer. Sometimes it's a clearer process, a simple rule, or a tool you already own. We look at every opportunity through five lenses, and we'll tell you when AI isn't the right fix.

Policy
Who decides, who approves, and what the rules are.
Process
Simplify the work itself before automating it.
People
Give your team the skills and confidence to use AI well.
Existing systems
Get more out of the tools you already pay for.
Automation & AI
Use AI where it makes work faster, clearer or more accurate.

Who you'll work with

Chorus is senior-led. You work with us directly, not a rotating team of analysts.

Matthew Stevens, CPA

Finance, Accounting & Operations

Matthew is a Toronto-based CPA with 15+ years of experience across public accounting, controllership, FP&A, and CFO leadership. He began his career at KPMG and later built and led finance functions in high-growth companies. This included serving as CFO of a travel tech company that scaled to $100M+ GMV. At Chorus, he brings a finance and controls lens to everything we do.

Mathew Chan

Product, Engineering & Design

Mathew brings over a decade of experience in product, design, and technology leadership. Before co-founding Chorus, he was VP of Product at a public fintech, where he led 0–1 product initiatives, and earlier served as CPO at a startup acquired by RBCx. At Chorus, he leads the hands-on building: the tools, workflows and automations that fit how teams already work.

“Matthew was instrumental in helping Travala scale. He built the finance function from the ground up, brought discipline to reporting and planning, and was a trusted partner to me and the leadership team as we grew internationally.”

Juan Otero

CEO, Travala

“Matthew was thoughtful, dependable, and technically strong. He supported us across year-end reporting, cash flow forecasting, and complex corporate and tax matters, and I trusted the quality of his work throughout.”

Daniel Maclean

Former CFO, Canadian agritech company

Client stories

We've helped clients at very different points, from building a first AI strategy to designing and launching custom systems their teams use every day.

AI strategy and governance

Turning scattered AI experiments into one company-wide plan

Engineering consultancy

This firm had already started: an employee survey, Copilot plans, and people trying AI on their own. We helped pull it all into one strategy, with clear rules, training for every level, and a roadmap for what to do first.

The situation

There was plenty of energy, but no single plan. Open questions included which tools to standardize on, how to respect client confidentiality, and who needed training first.

What we did

  • Reviewed existing work and talked with leaders and teams about how they use AI today.
  • Built a ranked list of opportunities and a now / next / later roadmap.
  • Wrote responsible-use rules, including how to handle client policies and confidential data.
  • Recommended a Copilot-first tool approach, with alternatives where they fit better.
  • Ran training for leadership, all staff, a hands-on Copilot workshop, and a group of AI champions.
  • Left the team an AI playbook with prompts, examples and checklists.

Custom build and implementation

One place to manage every invoice, from inbox to payment

Environmental construction

The finance team was juggling invoice information across an inbox, an AP platform, Sage and spreadsheets. We connected those systems and built an AP management system the finance team finds easy to run, with a dashboard the whole company can use.

The situation

Invoice information lived in several systems that didn't talk to each other. Finance spent hours sorting a busy inbox and cleaning up errors, and project managers and executives had to chase accounting to find out where an invoice stood.

What we did

  • Built an email triage tool that sorts the AP inbox, sends valid invoices for processing, and flags anything unusual for a person to check.
  • Connected Outlook, their AP platform, Sage Intacct and Excel into one up-to-date view of every invoice.
  • Built a custom dashboard so anyone in the company can check an invoice's status and expected payment date, with alerts when something stalls.
  • Moved invoice coding and approvals into the same system, replacing the separate AP platform.

What changed

Replacing the AP platform is expected to save about $14,000 a year in software costs. The client owns the code, data and infrastructure.

Common questions

Something else on your mind? Email us at contact@hellochorus.com.

Do we need a technical team to work with you?
No. Most of our clients don't have one. You bring knowledge of the business; we bring the AI and technical side. If you have IT staff or an outside IT provider, we'll work alongside them.
Which AI tools do you work with?
Whichever fits your business best. We work with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, and we're not tied to any of them. If you're already on Microsoft 365, that's often the right place to start.
Do we need to switch systems or adopt a new platform?
Not usually. Wherever we can, we build around the tools and systems your team already uses, so changes are easier to roll out and less disruptive.
How do we use AI safely?
It comes down to two things. First, clear rules: which tools are approved, what can go into them, and when a person should check the result. Second, for businesses with sensitive client or project data, setting up the tools so access is controlled and activity is logged. We never use your data to train AI models, and we build review steps in wherever a person's judgment matters.
How long does it take?
A strategy and roadmap usually takes six to eight weeks. Training can run in a few weeks. Builds typically take four to nine weeks, depending on what we're building.
What does it cost?
It depends on what you need, so we agree on a fixed fee up front once we understand the scope. No hourly surprises. Canadian grant programs can cover up to half of eligible costs, and roadmap fees are credited toward the implementation work that follows.
Where do most people start?
With a roadmap if you need a plan, or with one painful workflow if there's a problem you already know you want fixed. Both work. Not sure? Book a call and we'll send you a free Starting Point Plan.

Tell us where you are. We'll help you take the next step.

Book a 30-minute call and tell us what you've been asked to do and where you're stuck. Within two business days, we'll send you a free Starting Point Plan:

  • Where you are today, in plain terms
  • Where we'd start, and why
  • Three things you can do in the next 30 days

It's yours to keep, whether or not you work with us.
